One of my hobby is to travel around. I love to travel a lot because I like to see the scenery and also other culture. My family and I went to Padang, Indonesia for our 2009

vacation.

Padang is the capital and largest city of West Sumatra, Indonesia. It is located on the western coast of Sumatra. The scenery is very beautiful and amazing. Although the city was affected due to the earthquake the other parts of Padang were not affected.

The scenery is amazing. We went to Bukit Tinggi and we stayed at a hotel call The Hills. Here is where we went for shopping! The price of the products are cheap. We can also bargain the price with the seller. There are so many pretty and cute that made as souvenirs. There are key chains, pencil box, pants, shirts and t shirts and other things.

We also went to Keluk 44. It is actually a journey to reach the top of the hill called Bukit Maninjau. It is called Keluk 44 because in order to reach the top, we need to go through 44 "keluk" or corners in English. The scenery from the top is so beautiful! We can see Tasik Maninjau and the view is amazing.

Another thing that I love about Padang is FOOD! The food taste sooooooo good. Its a finger licking good kind of food. We do eat a lot here. We never feel hungry because we are not allowed to do so. The tour guide will make sure we eat and make sure our stomach is full.
